The P.A.S.A.L.E.S program - Student Support Services - Mentorship
The methodologies used to facilitate this program are emancipatory and culturally responsive teaching (ethnology). Emancipatory teaching encourages students to become aware of their individual reality by investigating their daily life. It stimulates their questioning of reality and increases their critical thinking allowing them to work cooperatively while engaging in dialogue and reflection. To learn more about themselves and others. Culturally Responsive teaching/ethnology is to critically reflect your social environment helping to eliminate any ignorance, hate and judgement by understanding different cultures better. This helps promote tolerance, respect and understanding while building character and morale. Our ultimate goal is for our young leaders to be responsible and self-sufficient.
